Book Review - Mind Dimensions Omnibus
*I received a free copy of this product in exchange for my honest opinion.* Let's start with some background on the books shall we?
-----------------------
Mind Dimensions Omnibus Author - Dima Zales All 5 books in the popular Mind Dimensions series from a New York Times bestselling author, available for the first time in one convenient, discounted omnibus edition. Over 1500 pages of thrilling action, adventure, and unique mind powers.
The Thought Readers (Mind Dimensions Book 1)
Darren's had it easy his whole life. Finishing Harvard at eighteen, a lucrative job on Wall Street at twenty-one—all things are possible when you can cheat by stepping outside time. Thanks to his ability, he's a know-it-all, but what he doesn't know is how he's able to do what he does. That is, until he meets Mira and discovers her dangerous, hidden world.
The Time Stopper (A Mind Dimensions Story Prequel)
Mira can stop time, but she can't change anything. After her parents are murdered, she'll do anything to get revenge—even take on the Russian mob.
The Thought Pushers (Mind Dimensions Book 2)
Darren’s life turned upside down when he met Mira. Now, as he races to uncover his own identity, he confronts new enemies—and realizes his unique powers might extend further than he ever imagined.
The Enlightened (Mind Dimensions Book 3)
Kidnapped, consciousness expanded—and that’s just the start of Darren’s day. As a new danger comes to light, he has one chance to save a loved one’s life and avenge the wrongs of decades past. Some crimes can never be forgiven.
The Elders (Mind Dimensions Book 4)
Darren’s new powers are unpredictable, but they’re precisely what he needs to save everyone he loves. The Elders can teach him what he needs to know, but their help comes at a price. Ultimately, Darren has to make a choice. What is he willing to sacrifice for those he loves?
-----------------------
All in all I would say that this series is a nice, easy weekend read. Great for the beach or a short road trip. There is nothing new or surprising as far as being able to stop time goes, no "new science" so to speak. That doesn't make it a bad story though! I felt very comfortable in the world that Zales created for us. I really enjoyed being able to just hop from one book right into the next one without having to stop and order the next one in the series. I was satisfied with the character development as well as the story arch but it is not a heavy complicated read like say Game of Thrones. I would reccomend this book for anyone who enjoys series books as well as light Scifi Lit and is looking for an easy read. You can purchase the E-Book on Amazon.

Rodan + Fields Skincare: Review and Giveaway!
First of all, let me say that I am not big into skin care. I know I should be since I'm in my 30s and all but I'm not. I have my normal routine of moisturizer and eye cream and I have some serum or something I use before that but I am lucky if I remember to do this once a week let alone every night. Admit it, there are quite a few of you out there who are just like me. You CARE about your skin but you just don't make it a priorty. Maybe it's starting to feel worn, maybe it's lost that dewy glow from your youth... whatever it is, you're noticing the change and you want it to stop.
A friend of mine offered to let me try a mini facial from Rodan + Fields. At fist I was totally skeptical and I honestly tucked it in my bathroom cabinet and forgot about it. Then she asked if I wanted to do a giveaway on my blog and as you all know, I don't give away or review products that I haven't tried myself. The thing is though, I didn't want to deprive YOU guys the chance to try it for yourselves so this week I set time aside to do it.
WOW. First of all, I didn't NEED to set time aside. It's super quick and easy. The Micro Dermabrasion paste was LIFE CHANGING. I cannot for the life of me remember when my face last felt this soft. I had a professional facial done by the people at Dior a few years ago and while it was awesome, it was not as drastic as this was. It felt great and it smells amazing. I used the lip serum and the face serum afterwards as instructed and oh my gosh!! You guys are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. It's crazy because like I said, I was skeptical and figured my review would be more, "It's nice, you should try it and decide for yourself" but instead my review is WOW WOW WOW TRY THIS NOW!!! LIFE CHANGING!!!!!!
SO! How do you get to try a minifacial of your own?? It's simple:
Win one of 5 mini facial sets from Rodan + Fields skincare.
This amazing skincare line was developed by the same dermatologists that created ProActive!
a Rafflecopter giveaway Visit https://mbfebs.myrandf.com/Pages/OurProducts/GetAdvice/SolutionsTool to get a free personalized skincare solution!
Winners will be announced on October 1st!
To make this even better, MB is giving my readers their choice of free make-up wipes, spf body cream or sunless tanning foam with an $80+ preferred customer purchase when you mention From Lazy to Lady!
Just incase you're feeling insecure about some of the questions, my biggest facial skin scare concern is blackheads and giant pores of doom. Just one use of the micro dermabrassion paste and I had noticiably less blackheads which made my pores look smaller too.
Good Luck! Comment to let me know you entered!

Product Review: Bubble Planner - The Big Bubble Edition
One of the main themes of my blog is organization and getting my life out of CHAOS. I can't even tell you how many planners I have gone through over the years in an effort to find one that actually works.
When I heard about the Bubble Planner something just clicked and I knew I had to have one.
It's not your standard planner, it uses thought bubbles, and mapping instead of simple lists. It's a very visual planner that helps organize your priorities, projects, and daily activities by catagory.
This section tackles your goals, not your to do list. It's a great way to map out your thoughts in an effort to help you achieve your goals rather than just list them and forget about them. There are pages after this that help you plot out the steps to achieve those goals.
This section takes care of your daily to do list. It gives you the 4 sections of your day to organize: phone calls, home tasks, computer tasks, and work/school tasks. There is also a section divide into 4ths like a clock to plot what you need to do when as well as a section for notes or any list you need to make.
There is also a section which I have found to be very enlightening and completely unexpected in a planner. It's called The Renew section and it covers Franklin's 13 Virtues. It helps you keep track of your habits and while some of them are a little strange to me, a lot of them are really nice to be reminded of. These are a few of my favorites...
Silence - Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself. Avoid trifling conversation.
Frugality - Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself. i.e. Waste nothing.
Tranquility - Be notdisturbed at trifles, or at accidents common or unavoidable.
There is also a regular montly calendar section that allows you to fill in the months and dates as you see fit, a weekly calendar section set up the same way as the daily time area, a section to take notes, a section to list things you need to follow up on and who you need to follow up with, and a section to map out and plan your projects.
I love this planner and have been putting it to good use and would highly reccomend it to anyone who has not been successful using a standard planner. There are other planners available from Bubble Planner as well, one of which a few people have been asking about called "Bubbles for Busy Women" as well as one called "My Daily Bubble - Day Planner for Women". I hope to eventually review one of those for you in the future.
The Big Bubble version is a large planner - 8 1/2" x 11" . For those who don't need all of the features and who want a smaller planner there are options for you as well. However, I personally love this size since I don't have to struggle to fit everything on small pages. The binding is unique and awesome as it allows you to remove and move pages as you see fit without any hassle or need for a binder, but for those of you who prefer a binder, they have that option for you as well.
This product gets a 5 out of 5.
I received a free planner to review. No other compensation was or will be received. All opinions expressed are mine and mine alone.
