I heard those words today for the first time in a while.
Not from my mother, or a teacher, or even my husband.
I heard them from a friend who has been very supportive of this journey I'm on.
She has never been cruel, or judgmental about the state of CHAOS my home is in. She is always quick to say a kind word and offer encouragement when she knows I need it.
She came over for dinner tonight and walked into my kitchen and said "WOW."
Walked into the next room and said "No way!"
Got to the living room and said "I'm so proud of you!"
I respond well to positive reinforcement. I can't wait to see her reaction when the bedroom is done. Maybe I'll earn a treat like some delicious red velvet cupcakes with vanilla frosting. *HINT HINT*
Speaking of which... go check out her blog. She makes the best cupcakes!
