Like the new twist? I thought so. I have not worked out this week. I have however spent quite a bit of time looking for a new job.
I have an interview tomorrow at a local museum and an interview on Monday at a well known, high end bridal boutique. I'm excited about both opportunities.
I got my eyebrows threaded today in preperation. That deserves it's own post though.
The story of the disgruntled flight attendant really hit home and highlighted how important it is to enjoy what you do. While I think it was silly to do what he did I totally get why he did it.
What has been your least favorite job? Do you have an interesting "I quit!" story?
Firstly, I can't believe you allowed someone to assault your eye brows in that way. It's brutal. I cried when I was tricked into doing it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the best job I ever quit was when I worked at a fast food joint and I walked in an hour late for a managers meeting (cause I was one but had overheard that someone spread a rumor that I was having sex in the office with my ex-boyfriend - and I wasn't, for the record - but because of the rumor I was going to be sent to another store to avoid conflict, so I was pissed and decided to just quit). I walked up to the counter with my nicely folded uniform in my hand and my manager said, "You're late!" And I just quietly set the uniform on the counter and allowed him to come to his own conclusion. When he did, and walked away sulking, I looked at everyone and told them all to Eff Off and then said, "Peace Out!" And left.
